Symptoms of a Health Emergency
- Difficulty breathing
- Chronic coughing
- Moves gingerly or cries out in pain
- Unusually high or low body temperature
- Very pale or very dark red gums
- Panting heavily
- Cannot stand or walk
- Cannot pass stool or urine
- Chronic diarrhea and/or vomiting
- Not eating or drinking
- Lethargic and unresponsive
- Bleeding severely
- Having seizures
- Was just hit by a car, attacked, or fell from a height
- Shows possible signs of broken bones
- Abdomen is bloated and unusually firm
- Blood in stool
- Ingested a poison or toxin
